Finally, somebody with the credentials and balls to challenge the silly, expensive worship of glitz technology – the iPad.  I truly believe it is good technology, but there’s a vast gap between cool-hip-trendy, and useful or practical.  And the price tag is ridiculous.  Its a bit like lawyers having to own a BMW.  The big difference is that most, fortunately, can afford one.  But most of the rest of us can compute or read email or watch movies on similar – in some cases better – technology from at least a half-dozen other technology vendors like Samsung, Lenovo, Amazon, Google, Motorola (soon to be Google), and Acer. And the price is far more reasonable.
