Talk about Cutting The Cable!  As big guys like Adobe dip their foot into the waters of commercial broadcasting, watch for a variety of technologies for login, authentication, or SPOOFING the user of location.

Why is this important?  Its kinda like the old days when the venue  had visitors enter through a turnstyle, count them, and collect their admission fees.  Some will jump the fence and others will use fake IDs.  What happens when identity becomes blurred, authentication is uncertain, and billing (collecting the revenue) is guided by our current banking system.
