And all along we thought Microsoft was an OEM/Shrinkwrap company. It is encouraging to the Microsoft supporters that there’s a predicted increase in public Cloud market share to 35% for Azure.
But we still wonder whether the bulk of Office, Dynamics, and other MS product users will be as quick to embrace a subscription pricing model. After all, Enterprise users have grown accustomed to needing special help figuring out the annual changes in Microsoft’s licensing model.
Oh well, it’s a job, right?
