Yes, Virginia, there is an advantage to cross-platform computing.
To explain. All the huge computing giants of the past twenty years have tried to deliver their own knock-out blow to their competitors. IBM did it – unwittingly – with the PC (personal computer was a revolutionary idea back in the day) and Apple tried it with the iPod – morphed to iPhone – morphed to iPad.
But the cotton picking cybercriminals continue to mess it all up.
I love the simplicity of this Android post in which “alternative” devices (in this case operating in an Enterprise Windows shop) come to the rescue.
Let’s keep it up folks for the benefit of all. (Not the cybercriminals though)
