In a great, newly coined term, Apperating Systems, the critical and disruptive nature of mobile device “Apps” is finally revealed. With its own moniker now, the capability of a carefully selected set of unique features can be be proprietarily joined to the phone or tablet without the need for a host or mothership.
Early on we had Google and Apple competing to develop their own unique platform and traditional operating systems, Android and iOS. Now we have a complete proprietary feature set that comes from service providers like Amazon and Facebook.
That’s it for now folks. And it crept up on us while we were recharging overnight.
