The best big-business model to use as a comparison is Amazon. The online retailer depends upon a very sophistocated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system run its eStore. And the natural development and successful operation the Amazon S3 Cloud systems is a perfect fit for Amazon.
But Apple and iCloud?
