A casual observer might suggest that the tablet world is blurring together as major players like Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, Google, Microsoft, and Acer furiously compete for market share. But here come the “phablets” those larger than 5″ screens from the usual suspects which clearly are competing for the same consumers who might otherwise purchase an iPad. Could this be the reason for declining iPad sales, or might it be their premium pricetag and increasing competition from other manufacturers?
Or might there be a leveling of the playing field among the competing operating systems, iOS, Windows, Chrome, and Android?
Time will tell.
