We in the Americas and Europe forget that there are vast areas of the third world where the financial commercial infrastructure is limited and archaic by our standards.  But, like the expansion of the rail systems in the US and Europe in the 18th Century, the rapid deployment of cellular towers powered by solar, has brought 21st Century communication to these areas.

And the revolutionary aspects of modern telecommunications will transform these areas of the world and bring incredible improvements to village life, health, and the standard of living.
