From time to time I share emails and other information that arrives on my “doorstep” and have found that many of you read them and, hopefully, avoid the pitfalls of such scams, spam, malware, and phishing attacks. But every time I do it I think, “Am I participating is risky behavior or turning off my readers because they may think that I am one of them?”
To the first point: blogging and posting are by their very nature a bit risky. To do so is to put your thoughts and opinions out there permanently.
To the second point: I hope that “The Cloud is Huge” now has a sufficient track record to be perceived as trustworthy. Along that line, we are working with our sister company, Transition IT and its affiliate, Transxfer to provide, promote, and also develop products and services that will improve Internet experience.
The above email and others like it have been coming to my Inbox and Spam folder in various forms for the last six months or so. I don’t know what the “payload” contains, because I really don’t want to go that far. And a Google search doesn’t come up with anything on the first few pages, probably because the subject line of the email itself contains #126559669, a number that can be generated to confuse the Google algorithm. Many of us depend upon Google to quickly and honestly explain many unknown or questionable things on the Internet.

|Police in Canada are conducting an intensive manhunt in New Brunswick Province for a man suspected in shootings that left three officers dead and two others injured.Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constable Damien Theriault said police responded to a call Wednesday about an armed man in the north end of Moncton, in the east coast province, at 7:30 p.m. Three of the responding officers were killed and two sustained non-life threatening injuries and were in stable condition.”We are still actively looking for the shooter,” Theriault said. “He is believed to still be in the Pinehurst subdivision area of Moncton.
