It’s not a dream, folks. It’s a reality that is unfolding slowly.
But as I stood at my neighborhood Red Box yesterday to return our Saturday night movie – the $1.29 one – I wondered if physical will ever lose out to virtual. To me it is still economics, I guess. When faced with $11 at the theater – for one person mind you – or $5.99 for pay-per-view – or just waiting until the movie or show gets to Netflix or Hulu, there’s no competition.
Mind you, we’ve already payed $70 per month for the Cable service, but then there’s the sports, local news, The Voice and all that other stuff that’s important, right.
Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.
