The logical marriage of services gives Dish Network a boost, especially in rural areas. The confusing and expensive separation of services in many markets has been solved by cementing the relationship between Dish, ViaSat, and Hughes.
What remains for consumers is customer service challenges and competition from giants like ATT (UVerse), Time Warner (who spawned RoadRunner for the same purpose), and Cox Communications.
Hopefully these services will help us sort out the confusion and expense of “bundling” or not.
Like anything in transition, it all will take time and patience.
