When The New York Times writes about a technology issue, its probably about time to take it seriously. Not that we haven’t been talking about it most of this year, but I’m still convinced that everybody needs to take it far more seriously than they have thus far.
Also, I bet that the major browser vendors, Microsoft, Mozilla, Apple, Google, and uh Opera, know something we dont know regarding potential government intervention in the commercial transaction cycle between what is advertised and if or when the consumer actually purchases it. As in Internet taxation, hint hint.
