The whole issue of intellectual property has already been turned on its head by the Internet itself. Publishing used to involve the control and production of information. Now that information sources are more obscure and probably don’t matter anymore due to the 21st century revenue models that drive the Internet, ownership is more about timing than control.
I’m waiting with baited breath for the outcome of this new chapter.
