How Will Facebook and HTC Approach Marketing for New Phone? | Digital – Advertising Age

“HTC’s newest phone, the HTC One, will become available next month, and AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile will carry it. But there’s no indication whether this is HTC’s Facebook phone and no telling which carriers will want to offer it.”

An interesting twist on monitizing Facebook.  But not to worry, others have tried, mostly unsuccessfully.  Google comes to mind with a variety of devices including their latest, the Chromebook.

But consumers are infatuated with personal devices, pink, plaid, camo phone covers, logo embossed accessories.  Why not a facebook phone?  Then you’d have a frivolous device that does nothing of any significance.

Oh, no.  I did it again.  Apologies if I offend!
