Hats off to France for doing something similar to what the Obama administration attempted late in his first term, the National Broadband Initiative.
What’s important here is not, necessarily NetFlicks in the boonies. Rather it is the potential for high speed internet services that will provide education, safety, and healthcare services as well to millions of people who live outside the feasible reach of 21st century telecommunications services.
A variety of opportunities exist for individuals, communities, companies, and providers to pitch-in to help initiatives like these all over the world.
