In the “Browsers are Becoming More Intelligent” department we get this great post on how to turn off your Google personalized search results.
Why, you ask?
Maybe, just maybe, you want to see what results most of the rest of the world would get if they weren’t being tracked and second guessed by Google.
Above, I sort-of blamed Google. Its actually the combination of the browser and the search engine that causes the differences.
And in other blogs we’ve already discussed the fact that most people don’t really give a damn.
If you do, then turning off personalized search is for you.
