That means IT security experts are trying to protect one type of system, replicated hundreds or thousands of times, as opposed to a variety of systems in a variety of states of update and configuration.”
It is fitting that the Internet’s largest platform, Google, is leading the effort to secure the cloud to make your Internet experience safer and less risky. But much of the effort is directed at attracting enterprise computing from in-house data centers to cloud systems or a hybrid in between. But what about consumer computing that now depends upon the cloud for most of its content and security?
