Changes in the fortunes of traditional print media may damage the credibility of new media like Twitter.  Acceptable political biases of age-old media institutions are being challenged by the ignorance, lack of education, and impulsiveness of reckless bloggers.  With luck, new media and audiences will sort out the misinformation by demanding more thorough and balanced reporting.
