In a move that didn’t get much if any publicity, the San Diego City Council announced two new contracts that effectively replace its 30 year incumbent provider, the San Diego Data Processing Corporation with two totally outside vendors, Atos (Australia?) and CGI Technologies.  These moves were made, interestingly,  in an election year at the end of the term of Mayor Jerry Sanders.  Interesting to this citizen of 28 years and technology professional.
