We just got through the first quarter of 2014 with little controversy – comparatively speaking.
Now its April Fools Day and I don’t think Huffington Post is trying to fool us with this one. The post is a re-post from August 2013, but relevant – and a touch controversial.
Children on LinkedIn?
Somehow the implication is that Professional people and young people under 18 don’t mix or shouldn’t. The more important point is the purpose of LinkedIn itself. If the young people are career minded, then mixing thoughts, ideas, and business oriented values makes some sense.
Otherwise, the move may distract LinkedIn’s purposes and dilute the value of its content and membership.
Just my thoughts as a user for many years.
