Big Data and The Internet of Things are 2014’s topics of the year – in my humble opinion.
The 60 minutes episode from December 7th is one of the first instances of a huge benefit to the use and collection of Internet tracking. So far we’ve only followed the uses of metadata for commercial advertising.
Now we must come to grips with the privacy and identity protection issues that would naturally accompany the collection of health and wellness data from patients who have already been identified as potential or actual cancer victims.
