Well, it is easy to take past practices for granted, and even easier to assume that current ones will give us the same security, information access, editorial oversight, and meta-data transparency. the truth is that they might now.
So we remind everybody that it is important to continue the process of reviewing and scrutinizing all the components of the modern “conversation” so that we don’t lose the characteristics that we agree are important and transcend those that are not.
