I don’t usually get political, but I can’t resist applauding the visit to North Korea and the resulting comments about information sharing by our usual cold war enemy.
We probably never thought that information was so powerful that it can and does transcend ideological boundaries and even physical borders. Of course the signals themselves can be blocked, but when they do get through, the results are astounding.
Let’s look to an era when such information exchanges improve cultural understanding and the development of better relationships between our governments.
