We’ve long thought that Smartphones offer an abbreviated online experience when compared with a PC or laptop. So the information in this post confirms that idea. I also like to compare my own experiences with New Media to those that research suggests. The good news is that when I want an in-depth view of anything, I go to the PC or laptop (when it is convenient).
Responsive design has permitted web designers the opportunity of providing more of the same information on the traditional web page to the smartphone user. But the message design is really different and – in my opinion – radically different from the PC/laptop experience for the user.
