Yahoo is warning users of potentially malicious activity on their accounts between 2015 and 2016. It’s the latest development in the mega-breach.
And the current 2017 consensus is that malicious activity is an expected consequence of technology use for all of us. What is puzzling, though, is that privacy is not important for most users until they are attacked or lose something of value like their identity or the contents of a bank account.
