Its not a sprint, but a marathon!
I’ve been a Yahoo portal fan for years and this is good news for a company that has struggled with the changing tides of 21st Century technology. Their new strategy seems valuable at a time when mega deals haven’t made much sense.
A vendor neutral landing zone is probably a good idea for many Internet users. That way you’ll have some insulation from the pressures of “the product”.
I appreciate the separation of iTunes, Amazon, and Google App Store from my landing page, at least on the laptop and PC. The Smartphone is a whole other animal that is still evolving. Whether my separation suggestion will work with mobile devices is still to be seen.
