Here’s a really cool idea – and their caveat that all devices must be on for it to work isn’t unsurmountable.
We in the data center business have had utilities that can remotely turn on and turn off a device remotely.
So if this technology takes off – another bright entrepreneur will figure out a way to turn on the one missing device that has that critical file when you need it from somewhere across the world.
This tech guy is also interested in the security and identity protection involved with “all my stuff anytime, anywhere” technology.
